# The Revival Project > The Revival Project is a national nonprofit movement organization (501c3) focused on sparking, stoking, and sustaining the next Great Awakening through the local church. Founded in Indianapolis, Indiana, the organization equips churches across America with a proven framework of six Revival Practices drawn from Scripture and confirmed through the history of great spiritual awakenings in America. The Revival Project is not a curriculum publisher, a conference, or a denominational program. It is a movement with a long-term vision: 1,000 churches in 1,000 cities engaged with the Revival Project framework by 2036, each becoming a center of spiritual awakening in its community. Revival, as defined by The Revival Project, is a personal, renewed love for God above all else. It is not primarily emotional, event-based, or cultural. It begins with one heart fully surrendered to God, and spreads through the life of the local church. The founding conviction of the organization: "We've found something. Our heart is to give it away — but give it away the right way." The framework grew out of seven years of proven results at Connection Pointe Christian Church in the Indianapolis metro area, where the Revival Practices were developed, tested, and implemented before The Revival Project launched as a standalone organization. The six Revival Practices, in order, are: 1. Urgent & Dependent Posture 2. Ongoing Repentance for Relationship 3. Kingdom Prayer 4. Brokenhearted Boldness 5. Raising the Next Generation 6. Decades, Not Days These practices are not proprietary theology. They are patterns identified in Scripture and confirmed through the history of past Great Awakenings. The Revival Project did not invent them — it researches, teaches, and helps churches implement them. The organization serves four primary audiences: churches and pastors (implementation and partnership), individuals and small groups (personal revival resources), donors (movement investment), and ambassadors (relational expansion).
